The thing is that girls atrophy real fast when it comes to post-college. It’s like a real-life freshman 15. This would be ok, and probably self-resolve if it wasn’t for the dirty fact that US girls feel an inordinate amount of self-entitlement. It just ends up hurting them from taking much-needed change and self-improvement. Are you still studying for the GMAT? Reply Willy Wonka November 16, 2010 at 12:44 am Yeah, I’m still studying for that… I’m taking it in a few weeks though, so I’m almost done with that… Reply Jack Frost November 15, 2010 at 12:07 pm Give it a couple of years and youll run into this more and more. Girls from high school will start coming out of the wood work trying to talk to you thinking they still look the same as back in high school, its not a good look. Reply Phoenix November 15, 2010 at 12:49 pm I added a few girls to Facebook back from High School, and their looks degraded despite not gaining much weight. Reply Willy Wonka November 16, 2010 at 12:45 am Really?!? How does that happen? Reply The Rookie November 15, 2010 at 5:17 pm yet another example of guys working way harder on their appearance than girls. only in America. Reply Black Rebel November 15, 2010 at 6:16 pm Honestly, the average female peak in looks is like 18-22, it remains fairly static for 3-4 years, then declines slowly until about 30 and nosedives like TWA after that. It’s both sad and awesome that a woman’s peak comes at a man’s lowest level and a man’s peak comes right as women just hit the wall. And Rook is partly right; sad that guys take more pride in their appearance, but we also have much more resilient bodies. As for the post, yes, a few girls I used to know in HS who were hot shit back then either got fat or ugly…I have had more than one of them, not ten years after not even acknowledging my existence, try to play me hard and fast only to have their ego shredded. I have also seen girls that were fat or ugly mature into very pretty girls since high school. I wish one of those would be aggressive with me sometime. Reply Willy Wonka November 16, 2010 at 12:52 am “And Rook is partly right; sad that guys take more pride in their appearance, but we also have much more resilient bodies.” We do have more resilient bodies, but in general, more guys do work harder than women… how many girls you know actually take going to the gym and training and staying in shape seriously? Not many. Not all guys do, but most guys do go through some faze of at least lifting a little weight. Almost every dude I know has at least some dumbells at the crib, even if they may never use them, lol. “I have also seen girls that were fat or ugly mature into very pretty girls since high school. This I have not seen… I’ve seen girls who were really skinny in high school and had no ass and no tits fill out nicely and become very attractive now, but they weren’t fat or ugly in high school, just too skinny and hence never caught my (or any other guy’s) attention back then. Reply Black Rebel November 16, 2010 at 6:55 am ‘Ugly’ is a bit of overkill, the word I’m looking for is homely or plain, and yeah, I have seen it; girl no one pays attention to gets a good job so she can spring on nice clothes, leanred to do her makeup proper and takes the gym seriously. One girl in particular, let’s call her Kathryn, in HS she needed to drop about 30-40, but she did always have a nice face, she works just down the street from me and I ran into her a few weeks ago, looking very very good, she was like a 4 in high school and now she’s a solid 7 and engaged. Of course she’s an actress now so this was out of necessity I’m sure. It is still far more common to see the inverse like you described in your post. Bricona November 16, 2010 at 2:51 pm I could see that kind of being true. But yeah, there are other things that make women do able. Reply Bricona November 15, 2010 at 11:47 pm Yeah the popular girl in high school who use to talk crap behind everyone with her legion of friends turned into a mutated cow on obesity steroids. Now she has no friends, no real perception on life, and hobbles around with cankles Reply Pingback: 24 is the new :-( | Going Dolo Jack Frost November 16, 2010 at 1:32 pm Linked to your post in my newest one.
